The day was clear, although a bit windy, and the rain stayed away. This led to some interesting track racing for this the first of the Racing Club Omega’s Track Events.
Whilst the numbers were low for this first event the racing was good .
There were enough female entrants for the U16/14 girls to have their events, separate from the boys. Whilst the U12/10/8 numbers meant they rode together the younger entrants weren’t going to let the older ones have it all their way.
The senior riders saw some old faces return to the Mountbatten Centre track and the events saw some very competative racing
Easter Saturday is the next time for the fixed wheel racing after the road bike racing in the morning
