To try to accommodate the 4th cats and Women we are using the additional track time afforded to us by using the floodlights at the Mountbatten Centre.
From May to mid August we are alternating monthly with an additional event for the either the 4th cats or Women ( see additional info below).
We are offering these as starter events, hence the short distances and they will have smaller field sizes than other events. ie 25 for the 4th cats, but we need to impress that these events need to be supported by pre-entrants, otherwise we will not continue with them, as again like other organisers, we have been asked why not this and why not that, so here we are trying to accommodate everyone, but for it to work, it has, as other organisers have commented on, to be a two way streak for it to work. If we don’t get enough women to make a race viable (8-10 riders) we will revert to offering them to the 4th Cats.
