Unfortunately, we have some good news and some bad news regarding the above events.
The good news is that the contractors have started work on the floodlights for the cycling/athletics at the Mountbatten Centre which means that the winter road bike sessions will return in a new format once the lights have been approved for use.
The bad news is that there has been some ground work damage to the infield near to the cycle track which invalidates the BC Risk Assessment. So, in the interests of safety the council has suspended all activities on the outside area until the work has been completed and the groundwork damage rectified.
Sorry for this news but we’d rather give you notice now so you can make other arrangements for those weekends.
Unfortunately we won’t be replacing them as we are moving on to indoor track racing for the winter at the Calshot Activities Centre in Southampton
We hope to be back in early 2018 with some more road and Track events next year
