Just in from the promoter of the Road Race season opener , Perfs Pedal Race on Sunday 9th February 2014.
Due to more heavy rain again today and the forecast of more rain and high winds over the weekend I have reluctantly decided to cancel this year’s Perfs.
My main priority is rider safety and on my drive around the revised course today – Thursday – there is an unacceptable amount of surface water which cannot drain away as the ditches and fields are full.
Riders will have their entry fee refunded ASAP but please allow me time to collect bank details and action refunds.
