SOUTH YOUTH RIDERS 4TH AT SAINSBURYS SCHOOL GAMES

The South Youth Track Team have returned from The 2014 Sainsbury’s School Games with 4th place over all

The team of consisted of the following:

Matt Cox, Alistair Fielding, Etienne Georgi, Alex Jolliffe   Eve Jefferies, Pfeiffer Georgi, Rebecca Raybould & Sophie Taylor

The three day multi sport event consisted of  the following cycling events

Boys:  Scratch Race   Points Race   Sprint      Keirin     500m TT     Ind Pursuit     Madison      Team Sprint     Team Pursuit

Girls:   Scratch Race   Points Race   Sprint      Keirin     500m TT     Ind Pursuit     Madison      Team Sprint     Team Pursuit

With the overall  results based on an omnium style     day 1          day 2            day 3

The events were also complimented with events for young para cyclists, their team saw the inclusion of Lauren Booth who came home with a hoard of medals
